Description:

In this detailed political history, Mitchell Bard presses every hot button as he follows the Arab states and other powerful interest groups who have waged a bureaucratic guerrilla war to undermine American-Israeli relations. Bard shows how the efforts of the first Arab Lobby grew out of their alarm at the creation of the Jewish state and reveals the scope and activities of today’s Arab Lobby, “ . . . whose goal is feeding America’s oil addiction, obtaining more sophisticated weaponry and weakening our alliance with democratic Israel.” The author is the Executive Director of the nonprofit American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) and a foreign policy analyst. This program is part of the Alper JCC 30th Jewish Book Festival
